THE EXOSOMES FACIAL PROCEDURE IN PALM BEACH GARDENS
Exosome therapy is usually a topical treatment applied to the face. The serum may be used alone, after another treatment, or in combination with another treatment, such as microneedling.
When administered after another treatment, the serum is simply applied to the face and allowed to sink into the skin for a few minutes. In these cases, procedure preparation and recovery depend on the cosmetic treatment administered before the serum.
If the exosome serum is the only treatment you receive, dermatologists often combine it with microneedling to help the serum permeate your skin more deeply. During the procedure, our medical professional will apply a topical anesthetic. They’ll then move a dermaroller evenly over your face. A dermaroller is a penlike tool with a cylindrical roller at one end studded with tiny, needle-like spikes. It creates microscopic wounds in your skin.
The medical professional will then apply the exosome serum to your face, allowing it to seep into the micro-wounds. Combining the serum and the wound-healing process supercharges collagen production to help smooth and tighten your skin. This procedure takes about 30 minutes.
IS THERE RECOVERY OR DOWNTIME AFTER EXOSOME FACIAL PROCEDURE?
The application of exosome serum alone requires no downtime or recovery. Exosome facial serum is often used with microneedling to help the serum penetrate deeper into your skin. You may experience some redness and tightness following the procedure but this will resolve after only a few days.
However, you should avoid applying makeup right after the procedure and avoid the sun or wear sunscreen if you plan to be outdoors. You may also experience redness or minor bruising, which can be camouflaged with makeup the day after the procedure if desired.
TYPICAL RESULTS AFTER EXOSOME FACIALS
Most patients notice an immediate improvement after exosome treatments and continuous improvement in the weeks afterward. Some of the most common results include:
Reduction in lines, wrinkles, and age spots
Brighter and more hydrated skin—a dewy complexion
More even skin tone and texture
Less redness and improvement in pore size
Faded, less noticeable scars and lesions
These safe, minimally invasive facials last from 18 to 24 months, though some patients may need an initial set of three to five sessions to experience marked improvement in their complexion.
