KYLE HOLLOWAY | CLIENT COORDINATOR

I am Kyle Holloway, 31 years old, currently reside in Jupiter, Florida. I am a firefighter and former professional athlete. Since a young age my life has been dedicated to performing at optimum levels. Whether that be in sports growing up, through my career as a professional baseball player, or my current career as a firefighter.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER & BACKGROUND

In 2010, I was signed by the Tampa Bay Rays to play professional baseball. I enjoyed a three year career until an injury plagued season forced me to retire at the Triple A level. It was a tough hit to take when all the hard work and dedication you put into something is taken by injury. So I then took on the task of learning everything I could about the human body and how to get it to perform at the highest levels, while still maintaining your health. I want to use this knowledge to help people reach their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Kyle is a client coordinator for IV Therapy and HRT at our Palm Beach Hormone Replacement Therapy clinic.

CHASE DANIELS | CLIENT COORDINATOR

My name is Chase Daniels I’m 33 years old, born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. I am a career firefighter and health enthusiast. I have played sports all my life, including little league Rec sports, High school football, track and field, cross-country, and power lifting. I have also done a little Jiu-Jitsu and I got into Crossfit in 2009. In 2010 I began competing in Crossfit competitions. I took second place at the regional level in 2011 and first place in 2012. At the Crossfit Games, basically the Super Bowl of Crossfit, I took 16th and 19th respectively.

BACKGROUND

While training in the days leading up to the 2012 Games, I suffered a left shoulder injury that ultimately ended my days of competing. While that injury was devastating to me, I learned a lot about how to properly take care of yourself. I learned how important rest and recovery is. I learned that nutrition and properly fueling your body is the cornerstone to living healthy. Also, as we age, these things become more and more important. Our hormone levels begin to decline and we become more susceptible to injury, stress, over exertion and other a myriad of other problems. If you have ever had a significant injury, you understand the feeling of depression and desperation. All that you want to do is be able to be healthy again. Just to be able to live a healthy lifestyle. Then the moment you feel better again, the competitor comes back out. You inevitably end up injured again, and the entire process repeats itself. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Giving your body the fuel and recovery that it needs is vital to performing your best. When I was competing I was reckless and I wanted to do every training session as hard as I could. If I didn’t, I felt like I was cheating myself, like there was someone out there training harder than me and the day that I met them, I would lose. I can only wish that I had the knowledge that I have now. There is nothing I can do about the past. What I can do, and what I enjoy doing, is guiding other people in their own journeys. Don’t make the same mistakes I made. Learn from them.
